Thanks Again!

As we begin our 2008 season, I want to take another opportunity to thank our 2007 sponsors for supporting our South Thurston Babe Ruth program. I’m happy to inform you that our 2007 season was a great success. It would not have been possible without support from within our local business community.

In 2007, 37 kids from the Oakville, Rochester and Tenino school districts registered to play baseball in our league. With your help we were able to provide a great experience for those kids and I’m happy to report that this year our registrations have increased to 65 kids. We are excited about the growth our program has experienced and are looking forward to a great 2008 season.

Again, this would not have been possible without the assistance we received from Americool, The Lucky Eagle Casino, Sterling Savings Bank, Rochester ReMax Realty, V.J.'s Bargain Barn, Rochester Lumber and others who recognize the importance of recreational sport programs for the youth in our community.

As you know we are an all volunteer based organization that strives to teach team values, sportsmanship and respect for others. However, none of this would be possible without the volunteers that give their time to help make sure the youth of our communities have access to these activities.

Thank you once again to everyone involved in making 2007 South Thurston Babe Ruth a huge success!
